In preparation for calving, Bryan turned his attention to
repairing fences and corrals (pictured at right). Joel, Len and his crew set up birthing pens for cows should they have trouble calving (pictured below).

The last thing to do before calves are born is to move the herd closer to our houses to keep a very close eye on the cows and calves.
